Hellmaker v1.1 requires a Macintosh running System 7 or above, at least 800kb of free disk space and a minimum of 500kb of free RAM. It is recommended that you have a colour Macintosh capable of displaying 256 or more colours, at least 3.0Mb of free disk space and 3.0Mb of free memory.
How to install Hellmaker:
---1---
Do one of (a) or (b):
(a) Make a copy of DOOM2.WAD, DOOM.WAD and/or HEXEN.WAD in the Hellmaker folder.
(b) Make an alias of DOOM2.WAD, DOOM.WAD and/or HEXEN.WAD and move the alias(es) into the Hellmaker folder. Do NOT rename the aliases!
---2---
Double-click on the Hellmaker Icon. If this is the first time you have ever started Hellmaker, you will be prompted to create a new window which will contain a tutorial.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I recommend that you do NOT use Hellmaker's built-in Node Tree and Blockmap builders. Instead, get MacBSP and use it instead. Hellmaker's builders are not perfect, and may cause crashes when attempting to save some levels. See the "Non-Graphic Structures" section for details.
